Романите на Димитър Димов

Author(s): Tatyana Ichevska / Language(s): Bulgarian

This survey is an attempt to clarify certain peculiarities of the poetics of Dimov’s novels, to outline the ways in which in some of his works there is evolution of a love affair, on the one hand and of the man-history-ideology relationship, on the other hand; to see how certain novelistic and film patterns “begin to speak”; to find the different dimensions of human nature; to distinguish what is specific in the interpretation of motives regarded as being classic in Bulgarian literature (for example, the motive of drunkenness, madness, the strive for “another world” and so on). This explains why in certain chapters Dimov’s novels are repeatedly commented on in different aspects. In Dimov’s texts we can follow the process of self-destruction of the characters, regardless of whether they manage to achieve their goals or not. Dimov’s attention is focused on the destiny of the travelling man. All Dimov’s characters, regardless of the social and ideological camp they belong to, leave “their world” in an attempt to fulfill their dream of “another world”. For some of them, this journey turns out to be a pursuit of the concepts of “real life”, which have been established by the cinema and the novels, for others it is a pursuit-adherence to certain ideologies (the world Catholic empire, the world dominance of the God-chosen German people, the creation of a perfect communist order), and for still others it is a pursuit of success and recognition. At the same time, the road is seen as a road to (self-)knowledge, for which the characters often pay with their lives.

Сборник от научни четения, посветени на 140-годишнината от приемането на Търновската конституция

Author(s): / Language(s): Bulgarian

In 2019, 140 years have passed since the adoption of the Tarnovo Constitution. On this occasion, the Departments of Public Law and Criminal Law at the Faculty of Law of Plovdiv University "Paisii Hilendarski" organized scientific readings to mark the 140th anniversary of the Tarnovo Constitution. This collection contains the main materials presented by the participants - scientists from law faculties and other scientific institutions in the country, and this is an indisputable testament to the representative nature of the event. The collection presents works of both established names in legal science and young authors who publish some of their first scientific works. We hope that the proposed research will arouse the professional interest of all representatives of the legal profession, and that the collection will be a useful read for both teachers and students of law, as well as for practicing lawyers.

Социоаналитични перспективи

Author(s): / Language(s): Bulgarian

The following collective monograph presents the summarized theoretical achievements of a study of a team of young scientists and postdoctoral fellows on a project on the topic: “I have no one to turn to! - Socioanalytical dimensions of vulnerability” (funded by NF “Scientific Research”, contract № ДМ 20/4, 20.12.2017). The team comprises 11 young scientists, PhD students and postdoctoral fellows from the departments of “Sociology and Human Sciences” and “Philosophy” at the Faculty of Philosophy and History at Plovdiv University “Paisii Hilendarski”.The research presented in this monography is structured in a way that demonstrates the effectiveness of the analytic interplay between data obtained through empirical research and attempts to develop socioanalytical identifiers of social vulnerability, as well as those for synthesizing methodological approaches for the analysis of various forms of social suffering. The productive meeting between them is reflected in the Socioanalytical Protocol Project as developed by the team members. The first two introductory texts has focus, on the one hand, on outlining the contexts in which the work on the project “I have no one to turn to! - socioanalytical dimensions of vulnerability” is carried out, following the key semantic problems: 1. The practice of understanding in socioanalytical conversations; 2. Analytical techniques for microscopic practico-logical data analysis; 3. Socioanalytical interpretation of the data relevant to the socioanalysis from the practical logic of the persons studied; 4. Reflexivity and self-reflexivity of the methodology and of the socioanalyst. These two texts also summarize the problems the team is facing. On the other hand, particular attention is paid to the methodology used in the Socioanalytical Protocol Project, which is developed as the main methodological instrument for the work on the empirical studies. The main thematic presentation related to the work on the empirical studies is presented in the section Socioanalytical Dimensions of Vulnerability, which consists of 9 texts developed through research work with this methodological tool. Each text is accompanied by an “Excerpt from the Project for Socioanalytical Protocol” on the relevant research case, which gives the reader a chance to become acquainted with the integral part of the research process and the intermediate analytical moves that led to the analyzes, reflections and results presented in each article.

Съвременната святост: история, образи, символи, практики

Author(s): / Language(s): Bulgarian,Russian,Polish,Greek, Modern (1453-)

The subject of holiness and its historical and contemporary dimensions has proven to be a cross point for the research interests of academics with a different academic background profile - theologians and historians, anthropologists and sociologists, art historians and pedagogues. This allowed the discussions to cross the boundaries of the single disciplines and to outline a rich and multidimensional image of research phenomenon. The vast variety of positions proved how beneficial could be the "Scientific diversity" and the lack of paradigmatic dogmatism outlined by the academic tolerance has turned this first conference into a forum for free exchange of views and opinions. This was particularly important for young scientists involved, for which the access to such scientific forums is often limited by institutional ones or other reasons. The collection we bring to the attention of readers reflects the current state of scientific thought on the theme of holiness.

Феноменът стилистична грешка (как да откриваме и редактираме коварните "сателити" на нашата реч)

Author(s): Krasimira Angelova Chakarova,Petya Kostova / Language(s): Bulgarian

The book is a theoretical study on the nature, typology and editing of stylistic errors – one of the most significant but insufficiently researched problems in Bulgarian linguistics. It is intended for students from the humanities, for secondary school teachers of Bulgarian, and for a wider circle of readers who are interested in the problems of the Bulgarian language. Its main purpose is to support their practical work on text formation (designing different in genre and theme speech products).
