Short Description

The Romanian Journal for Population Studies is a biannualy publication of Centre for Population Studies, a Research Unite of "Babeş-Bolyai" University from Cluj-Napoca, România. The Journal is focused on the category of studies that use factual data that bring novel information on the phenomena and demographic processes from the Romania and the whole geographic region in which Romania is situated, namely East and South East Europe, and also from the Western area and around the world. The Journal aims to contribute to a more accurate understanding of the situation from Romania and to remedy the errors which are still to be found in international literature referring to Romanian population. The Journal publish studies from the fields of demography, historical demography, geography and population history.
