Summary/Abstract: This article discusses political communication during the first wave of coronavirus – March-June 2020. The development presents an analysis of the communicative capabilities of social networks and the use of the tools “life stream”, “information portal” and “hashtag” to direct messages and information during a pandemic. The thesis, which aims to prove through the research, is that the political debate regarding the measures to overcome the coronavirus infection has been shifted from a discussion in the legislature to posts on social networks.
