Summary/Abstract: The article presents the concept of the National Curriculum for 2019 in the discipline "Ukrainian language and literature", which is based on an integrative approach. In particular, innovations of content lines in relation to units of competence and units of content are stated and substantiated. Special attention is paid to the possibilities for the development of interdisciplinary relations and the integration of humanitarian disciplines in a multilingual environment for teaching a native language in a gymnasium.
