Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the issue of experiencing studying at Łodź Film School. The article is divided into two parts. The first one is of theoretical / introductory character and presents the subject of “geography of thinking” of the inhabitants of East and West, whereas the second one is a review from qualitative research carried out among the graduates and current students originating from East Asia.
