Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the basic elements of rhetoric as a pragmatic skill that was theoretically established by Aristotle’s rhetoric. The author analyzes the possibilities of the art of speech in relation to our modern times, particularly addressing the basic techniques of rhetoric and the fundamental stylistic linguistic figures.
