Summary/Abstract: Remembering our Fathers who preached the word of God to us is an apostolic teaching and exhortation that we follow in order to express our gratitude and our desire to follow in their faith. By God’s providence, I was chosen by the Holy Confessor Dumitru Stăniloae himself the great Father, Theologian, and Professor to be his disciple for seven years and to rejoice in the gifts of the Holy Spirit that this exceptional Theologian received and put into practice in his theology and life. My memories of the Holy Father and Confessor are vivid and ever-present in my heart, as I rejoice in the kindness and love of his image, now asking him to intercede with Christ the Lord to help and strengthen me in the theological work that lies before me.
