In order to better understand the time in which Ksenija Atanasijević was creating and developing her concept of pacifism, we will analyze the relationship between the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and religious communities. The way that religion was recognized in the army of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia will be discussed as well. Religion was very important in the Army and it formed the basis for educating soldiers.
