Summary/Abstract: The study proposed to the reader brings to light the creative personality of Father Arsenie Boca, canonized this year with the title the Holy Pious Confessor Arsenie of Prislop. Among the most significant works of monumental art, iconography and sculpture, we note: the interior painting of the "Saint Nicholas" Church, also called the Drăgănescu Church, the fresco in the apse of the altar of the "Saint Eleftheria" Church in Bucharest, the icon of the Holy Parascheva from the "Saint Anthony" Church - Curtea Veche, the icon of the Healing Spring from the "Holy Trinity" Church in the Tei neighborhood of Bucharest, the "Epitaph of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary" from the Brâncoveni Monastery, the icon of Saint Joseph the New from Partoș from the Metropolitan residence in Timișoara, the icon of the Virgin Mary with the Child from the "Holy Trinity" Church in Chichiș, the cover of the Gospel from Făgăraș - Galați, the reliquary of Saint John the Baptist from the Bucium Monastery, Brașov County. Regarding the works that are subject to analysis in this study, we canwe can mention the fact that the icon painting and the few analyzed frescoes of the Holy Pious Confessor Arsenie of Prislop, or as he remained known by his contemporaries, of Father Arsenie Boca, remain inscribed and anchored in the Eastern tradition with all the elements of novelty and individuality, as could be ascertained from the present study.
