Summary/Abstract: The contribution of Saint Nicodim is significant not only for the Greek Church, but for the Romanian Church also and for every other Church. The proof is made by the translations of his work and the concern for the life and writings of the saint. His work is also a proof of the fact that patristic tradition is continuing long after Saint John Damaschin and Saint Gregory Palama, moving on until the life of the contemporary saints. Saint Nicodim is showing a much deeper interest for our Church with his work, and on the other hand, with his strong spiritual connections that he had with our countries. That is the explanation for the big circulation of his writings across our country, many of them being published in multiple editions. His influence was strong enough in Romania, so that his work could be found in so many types of translations.
