Summary/Abstract: The subject of the study is to reveal the conceptualization of the woman (traditional value attitudes and understandings) in Bulgarian phraseological units. For this purpose external, internal and social characteristics of the woman are presented. Methods of semantic and linguocultural analysis are used to carry out the research.
