Summary/Abstract: Our history is something real, composed of the events that have shaped us as a people, as believers, as a church in the sense of a community of the faithful, but also as an ecclesial body in the sense of an administrative structure. Within this framework fits the Short History of the Assemblies of Christians after the Gospel in Romania (1899–1989), written by Victor Dumitrescu based on the notes of Gheorghe Oprea‑Teodorescu and Marian Ionescu. The work was published under the auspices of the Union of Christian Churches after the Gospel in Romania and includes a Foreword written by Virgil Achihai, the acting president of the Union and secretary general of the Evangelical Alliance of Romania, as well as a critical study and notes by historian Bogdan Emanuel Răduț.
