Summary/Abstract: The report examines the role of performance appraisal as a key managerial tool not only for monitoring employee effectiveness but also for purposefully stimulating and developing individual dynamic capabilities. Based on a critical literature review and conceptual analysis, it proposes a model for investigating how different components of performance appraisal influence the formation and manifestation of dynamic capabilities.
