Summary/Abstract: Information (communication) versus narrative? New media and social networks present us with a completely new type of narrative, significantly different from classic news, reports, and comments. They contaminate in a specific, previously unknown way information – analysis – story (narrative) within a single text, provoking a new type of communicative situation. This shifts the emphasis from the classic media text, which strives for the most objective recreation of ontological facts, to specific reflexive narratives, which in turn form new, specific genre forms. Today, we are witnessing yet another, and undoubtedly the most radical and dynamic genre diversification in the history of media.
