Summary/Abstract: At the global level, ensuring security and maintaining peace represent strategic objectives of state actors, but also of international security organizations, such as the UN, OSCE and NATO, aspects that involve a series of mechanisms used in this regard. Events in today's security environment follow each other at an accelerated pace, so states and international security organizations must be constantly able to react and intervene. As early as 2000, the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 (UNSCR 1325) entitled "Women, Peace and Security" was adopted, aimed at promoting the role of women in the field of security and conflict prevention. UNSCR 1325 was subsequently implemented, at the level of UN member states, with the help of policies, strategies and action plans specific to each state.
