Summary/Abstract: By using the combined method of critical discorse on the existing literature on Nikola Pašić and the People’s Radial Party in Serbia and Yugoslavia in the 19th and 20th centuries and summarized expression of crystalized explanations of the said historiographical matter, two main streams of study and explanation have been presented. The first one dealt more with “ideology“ of N. Pašić and was represented by Latinka Perović and Andrei Shemyakin, whereas the second dealt with the role of N. Pašić in historical events, as well as with the founding and rise of the People’s Radical Party. This other stream is best represented by Đorđe Stanković and his in-depth studies and explanations in the tradition of critical historiogra- phy. Some other streams of research of this matter other than these main ones were also mentioned.
