Summary/Abstract: Current paper aims at investigation high risk applications as a main object of the new European Union regulatory proposal on artificial intelligence (AI). Consecutively are presented new definition of artificial intelligence and high risk systems as well as rules for classifying high risk AI systems and risk management process in high risk systems. Interpretation is done in the context of maturity of the regulation and the rules. Benefits and treats for SMEs are stated as a conclusion.
