Summary/Abstract: Comparatively speaking, when we talk about the European continent, we will notice that there are basically three approaches to the management of justice. These are the judicial council model, the judicial-managerial model, and the model of management through the ministry responsible for justice. In this sense, in the 20th century there was a significant change in the way European countries understood the relationship between politics and the judicial system, because originally the management of justice was mainly the responsibility of the executive branch, and especially the ministry responsible for justice. However, sometime after the end of World War II, concerns about the independence of the judiciary, judicial accountability, and improved judicial performance began to change this understanding, and the ministries responsible for justice lost their monopoly on the administration of justice, and in many countries special bodies were created with the authority to deal with the careers of judges or the administration of justice. In other words, in order to free the judiciary from political pressure, primarily from the executive branch, or to achieve the principle of an independent judiciary, judicial councils began to emerge, which were a symbol and herald of the new institutions of democratic regimes.
