Summary/Abstract: Currently, the processed lithic collection from the Eneolithic Mayaki settlement of Usatovskaya culture stands at 3793 specimens. Among these, during the typological analysis a group of flakes with use retouch was identified. In order to clarify their importance and role in the production process, this group of artefacts was subjected to traceological analysis. We were able to identify several implements with clear traces of use-wear, suggesting that such tools were associated with processing hard organic materials.
