Two musical pictures in pandemia (to Poland from the Italian land)

Summary/Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in many countries in mobility restrictions. Handbrake was applied to the speeding train of social life. First of all, it had economic effects, but the situation did not miss world of music. The first musical symptom was the balcony concerts in Italy. In Poland, these effects took a slightly different form – the participation of many professional artists, celebrities and politicians in the hot16challenge. Selected cases for the analysis – as I tried to convince – illustrate ways of functioning of music in different societies.
