The challenge of digitisation of Polish schools

Summary/Abstract: Although the computerisation of Polish education has improved in recent years, this progress has not been uniform. Significant problems remain regarding access to modern equipment and stable internet connections. To address these issues, strategies and programmes are being developed to modernise school infrastructure, enhance the digital proficiency of students and teachers, and encourage the adoption of digital educational resources. However, the advantages and disadvantages of digitising education should be considered in the broader context of educational and economic challenges. It is also important to determine the most effective combination of digital and other types of skills.
