Summary/Abstract: In this paper we will be talking about the verb 'machen' which forms analytical constructions together with infinitives, adjectives and nouns in the German language and, therefore, has causative meaning. The goal is to prove that these constructions are present in contemporary German literature, as well as in translations of contemporary Bosnian literature into German.
