Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to characterize Slovak children's magazines from 1917 to 2017. Focus is placed on the analysis of their art side and it presents the results of the VEGA research project no. 1/0913/15 - Media literacy for pupils in primary education in the context of cooperation with the family and the school in the field of print media.
