Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on the presentation of the partial results of the Media literacy survey for pupils in primary education in the context of family and school cooperation, VEGA 1/0913/1, specifically on print media. At the same time it briefly characterizes and categorizes the current print media with which a younger child in Slovakia is coming into contact. At the end, it provides a brief assessment and recommendation in pedagogical practice.
