Summary/Abstract: Externalization as part of Puppet therapy is an integral part of the process of helping a family with a child at risk. The contribution outlines concrete structure of work with animated puppet in the framework of early intervention. Based on experimental verification (2015-2018) of the technique Puppet interviews in families, in which puppet therapeutic intervention was carried out, the authors describe three areas (direct work with family, work with child up to 3 years of age, work with child up to 6 years of age) of help, accompanied by authentic client testimonies. Each area has also defined possibilities and limits in the context of a parallel of early intervention and puppet therapy (specifically Puppet interview technique).
