Spectrum of autoaggression in adolescence

Summary/Abstract: The autoaggressive spectrum encompasses many different behaviors that are difficult to identify even by experienced researchers. Although the term autoaggression is accepted by a wide range of specialists in Bulgaria, a clear distinction of behaviors in this spectrum is extremely important. This article clarifies the concepts of autoaggression, forms of non-suicidal self-harm, suicidal behavior and focuses on some of the possible causes of self-aggression in adolescence.
