Summary/Abstract: The article examines parental stress and the influence of various personal and social characteristics on it, using the Parental Stress Scale (PSS). The analysis includes data from 37 parents, considering age, number of children, marital status, education, and employment status. The results show that unemployed and divorced parents experience higher levels of stress compared to other groups. Weak to moderate correlations were found between age, number of children, and PSS results. Although there is no significant difference in stress levels between men and women, factors such as higher education and socioeconomic status have a significant impact. The study highlights the need for targeted interventions to reduce parental stress, especially among vulnerable groups. It also recommends the implementation of supportive measures in preschool education, such as psychological counseling, parental training programs, and social support networks.
