Summary/Abstract: The author proposes another way of rendering the history of the area of the former military border in Năsăud. In so doing, the starting point is represented by the historiographical achievements that consist in daily notes, known as “diuar/ziuar”. From this perspective, the author presents 11 documents dating from 1866 related to the way of managing the border funds, property restitution or the celebration of some important events for the Romanians in Transylvania or for local people. All can be subsumed or comprised in the general term of daily notes.
