METHODS OF SAMPLING AND PROCESSING SOME SCYTHIAN CERAMIC VESSELS FOUND IN THE NECROPOLIS OF SÂNCRAI (ALBA COUNTY)

Summary/Abstract: The present paper aims to present the methods that led to the collection of ceramic vessels in the biritual necropolis from Sâncrai, where the site no. 9 from lot 2 was identified. At this point, two necropolises alternated, the first dating to the end of the first age of the Iron and belonging to the Scythian horizon of Transylvania, and the second, from the middle phase of the La Tène period belonging to the Celtic horizon from the intra-Carpathian area. Then, we proceeded to the presentation of the two necropolises. Finally, I briefly related the stages that were carried out in the laboratory processing of the ceramic vessels by the specific methods of restoration, respectively: disassembly of fragments, assembly with an adhesive type of tape without plasticizer, supplementing with gypsum gaps, chromatic integration and final preservation by impregnation.
