Summary/Abstract: The author of this article shows the topicality of the formula of F. Dostoyevsky’s philosophical novel in our times. Like in Dostoyevsky’s novels in Tiendriakov’s 'An attempt on mirages', among other things, moral and social ills of the Russian society (and generally in our times) assume a sense and meaning on general human scale.
