Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the life of Archbishop RomualdJalbrzykowski, specifically the last 14 years of his life, as well as the Sisters of Mercy of Saint Vincent a Paulo. Attention was drawn to the difficult times of World War II, when the Archbishop was a Vilnius bishop and resided in Vilnius and the post-war period, when he was exiled and settled in Bialystok. In joy, in trouble, in sickness they were always with the Archbishop of the Sisters of Mercy of Saint Vincent a Paulo.
