Summary/Abstract: Reality accelerates. The technological revolution with the integration of IT techniques and systems increasing the level of information availability means that the fourth industrial revolution covers almost all socio-economic areas. Inclusion of new technologies in the reality of tasks and processes implemented in enterprises means that organizations are transforming themselves in keeping with the times. Thanks to the introduction of digitization and innovative ICT solutions, they are able to correctly read information flowing from the environment and respond quickly and effectively to changes. In particular, the issue of “integrating” information flow in supply chains into the virtualization network becomes extremely important. Logistics 4.0 is the area where the inclusion, or the implantation of new, innovative technologies, creates particularly interesting effects from the socio-economicpoint of view.
