Summary/Abstract: The integration of supply chains can be implemented, among others, thanks to the integration of logistics centers into their structures. In the article, particular attention was paid to the role and importance of intermodal transport for the development of logistics centers and the efficient functioning of global supply chains. The author also indicates the benefits that participants in supply chains can get from using the infrastructure of logistics centers.
