Summary/Abstract: Digital transformation of business processes is a process that significantly affects the perception of the role and importance of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies)in modern enterprises. The question is not whether, but when enterprises that do not yet use or make little use of the benefits of information and communication technologies and digitization, they will follow the path of full commitment to the digitization and virtualization of business processes. In this transformation, the Internet as a carrier layer of data exchange and cloud computing technology is of key importance, which undoubtedly influenced the way in which enterprises implement and consume IT systems and services.The process of changes in the scope of production and logistics, referred to as industry 4.0, is increasingly affecting the functioning of enterprises in many aspects. Automation, robotization,and intelligent production systems are concepts that have transformed from marketing slogans to operating solutions supported by the latest information and communication technologies. Also, warehouse management, traditionally supported by integrated WMS class systems, is undergoing a transformation process. Also here, intelligent IT solutions based on artificial intelligence methods are increasingly applicable.
