The paper underlines some aspects from pre-marital customs (marital selection, asking in marriage, engagement) and the wedding stressing upon the transition to a new family such as sexual initiation, the using of substitutes of the young couple: dough, knot-shaped bread, apple, flag (flambură, furgliţă), separation and integration customs etc.
