The Configurations of Text Perspectives in the Novel Moskauer Novelle (1961) by Christa Wolf

Summary/Abstract: The study is aimed at the narratological analysis of the novel Moskauer Novelle by Christa Wolf. The central term is „perspective“ and „perspective structure“. In the first part of the study the author defines the term „perspective“. All text and non-text perspectives are located on individual levels of the communication model of narrative texts. Explanation and comprehension of the openness or closeness of the perspective structure is happening against of the called „themes of culture“. In the case of Christa Wolf, a theme of culture can be concretized under conditions of the aesthetic-ideological conception of socialist realism.
