Summary/Abstract: Since ancient times, the institution of successions has been of great political and social importance. In the Middle Ages the religious settlements obtained their wealth, largely, from the liberals for the cause of death made by the believers, and the not negligible taxes levied today on the income obtained from inheritance (regulated by the Tax Code) were, in the past, insignificant or even non-existent, important is the stability of the asset.
