Summary/Abstract: In this article we intend to make an analysis of the institution of ingratitude in the legacies matters which is regulated in Article 1070 of the Civil Code – a critical analysis of deficiencies in the current legislation in the institution of ingratitude in the legacies matters. At the same time we aim to formulate some opinions on the usefulness of this regulation, reported to the expansion of indignity to the testamentary heir.
