Summary/Abstract: Problems related to the protection (security) of information have accompanied people from the beginning of statehood. News about specific activities of the state has been and is not just a matter of interest to the potential opponent. Protecting them from disclosure to unauthorized persons is one of the fundamental problems of the functioning of not only governmental institutions. The dynamic development of the science of technology puts humanity at the threshold of a new era, the “era of avalanche development of information” in the face of new possibilities and threats. This phenomenon brings with it new problems regarding its collection, processing, transmission and protection.
