Summary/Abstract: The article illustrates forecasting by use of the models of time series. The study involved nine methods. In the initial stage, the focus was put on the presentation of the research problems as well as the research sources and used methodology were clarified. Then, the essence and prediction methods were characterised. The analysis involved the quarterly and annual reports of the audited company in the period of 2000 to 2016 year son the basis of which the revenue and expenditure up to the year 2021 were forecast. The three methods out of the nine ones were used (Holta, Cochranea-Okrutta, Hildrethea-Lu) and they turned out to be properly chosen. The tools presented in the compilation allow to maximize effects while minimising the risk. It will be easier for the decision maker to take appropriate measures to increase the effectiveness of their operations.
