Summary/Abstract: This article presents, in summary form, the process of education and training of the personnel of the Polish Navy in training centers of the British and French navy in the interwar period. Thanks to the personnel of the Polish Navy – comprised of graduates of the training centers based in Great Britain and (above all) France – it was possible to swiftly prepare teaching staff for the Officer School of the Navy, later known as the Cadet School of the Navy, to educate ship specialists, commanders of ships and staff, as well as to develop the Polish maritime military thought. Many of them confirmed their high level of command and expert qualifications during World War II
