Summary/Abstract: During the so-called Cold War, the Polish Navy cooperated to a large extent with the war fleets of third countries (Middle East, Far East, and African countries (the northern part of the African continent)). That cooperation would not have been possible without the Soviet Union’s consent. Through such activities, the Soviet side tried to expand its influence in the countries of those regions. The Naval College and the Naval Shipyard contributed to the achievements in that cooperation. The cooperation ended at the beginning of the 1980s, due to events in Poland.
