Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the publication is art criticism analysis of the partnership work of the well-known Ukrainian dancers - I. Lukashova and V. Parsegova and definition of professional components, which became the key to their successful activity in the duet on the stage of Shevchenko State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in Kyiv. The methodology of the work involves the use of the following cultural research methods: general historical, comparative-historical, analytical, biographical, etc. The scientific novelty of the publication consists in highlighting the characteristic features of the performing style of the ballet duo Lukashov-Parsegov and conducting a contemporary art-historical analysis of their stage production, created in the Soviet era. Conclusions. Scenic partnership of I. Lukashova and V. Parsegov contributed to the realization on the stage of Shevchenko State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre of highly artistic samples of ballet art in performances of academic heritage of Soviet-Ukrainian and Ukrainian national themes. The professional activities of I. Lukashov and V. Parsegov undoubtedly should serve as a vivid example of successful stage cooperation for the following generations of domestic dancers, because due to valuable stage experience each ballet artist has expanded his own technical and artistic possibilities, presented a high level of choreographic skill both in Ukraine and outside its boundaries.
