Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to thoroughly analyze the different creatures of the ballet "Lileya," Ukrainian ballet masters created during the XX – XXI century. The methodology of work includes the use of cultural science methods of research: genetic, comparative, systemic, structural-functional. The scientific novelty of the publication is to increase the art criticism sources according to the stated subject, to create an objective opinion about the work of the Ukrainian ballet masters of the Soviet era. Conclusions. For the first time, the choreographer of the Kyiv Theater named after him was turned to the embodiment of images of Shevchenko's poetry on the ballet scene. T. Shevchenko G. Berezov (1940) and experimental interpreter of the Lviv theater E. Vigilov (1941). Subsequently, the ballet "Lilya" could be seen on the stage of Kiev and Odessa (1945), Lviv (1946) and Donetsk (1947) in the editions of G. Berezova, V. Vronsky, and A. Herman. Performances differed in content drama and the presence of elements of the dance symphony. The features of choreographic editions of the ballet performed in the early 2000's by V. Troshchenko and V. Kovtun consisted of stage performance and academic performance.
