Summary/Abstract: This homage is dedicated to PhD Prof. Aurel Ardelean, an outstanding scholar respected by the national and international scientific community. His lifelong activity has irrevocably shaped Romanian research pertaining to multiple fields and fostered a myriad of synergies. The latter were responsible for the well-timed development of the Romanian research paradigm linked to Taxonomy,Chorology, Phytocoenology, and the History of Biology.
