Summary/Abstract: The main objective of this paper is to explore and describe the concept of identity of heritage. Theoreticians defined race as believes about the involuntary effects of genetic inheritance and ethnicity as believes about customs people choose to follow. Although these two descriptions might not be the best ones, they clarify what we found of great importance for the outcome of this article: race implies descent, and ethnicity consent.
