Summary/Abstract: This article shows the issues of international shipment of waste between Poland and Russia in applicable legal procedures in this range in both countries. In Poland oblige customs procedures in accordance with UE Regulation no. 1013/2006 such as statement and obtaining approval or informing procedures, while in Russia as member of EAUC area – obtaining license or general notice procedures, and obtaining licence or permit for hazardous waste. The statistical analysis demonstrate that plastic waste and used clothes were exported from Poland to Russia, while the wastepaper and metal scrap from Russia to Poland. It was also noted increase in the number of customs clearance the products classified as waste and illegal waste shipment in 2017 in comparison to 2016.
