International shipments of waste designed to recovery or disposal between Poland and others EU countries - procedures and statistical analysis

Summary/Abstract: Procedures of international waste shipments designed to recovery or disposal was regulated in the Regulation (EC) No 1013/2006. The basic meaning have the procedure of prior notification and consent and the procedure of general obligations in the range of information, because they serve to control the waste shipments in the UE territory. Compliance with these procedures is very essential for public safety and protection of environment. The statistical analysis indicate that the range of this problem is very important in Poland, and it concerns particularly hazardous waste determining a large threat for environment and people.
