Protection of birds and natural habitats vs. realization of undertakings in Nature 2000 areas.

Summary/Abstract: The Nature 2000 areas are the best important form of natural protection in European Union and protect valuable bird species and natural habitats. Realization of undertakings in these areas doesn’t limited under conditions that they will not worsen the state of protection objects. Moreover, undertakings can negatively influence the Nature 2000 areas are subject to limitation and require execution habitat assessment depending on the determination of their influence these species and natural habitats. A decision of undertaking realization is depending from this assessment. In aim of more effective protection of natural values the requirement of preparing the habitat assessment is also recorded in plans of protective tasks for some the areas Nature 2000 in the Warmia and Mazury Region.
