Summary/Abstract: Internet is a modern technology with powerful influence on the personality. This technology outlines new and unknown challenges facing the personality. However more and more users experience some negative aspects of its influence. Psychopathological manifestations related with problematic Internet use are an area of interest for modern scientific research, especially about conceptual and explanatory models, research approaches, therapy and prevention.
